About Gordon D. Ko, MD, FRCPC

Gordon D. Ko, MD, FRCPC, medical director of Physiatry Interventional Pain clinics at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the Canadian Centre for Integrative Medicine (CCIM, Markham). He is an adjunct lecturer, Department of Medicine, University of Toronto and former senior university associate professor. Dr. Ko has been studying medical cannabinoids (nabilone, nabiximols) since the late 1990s as adjunctive therapy in chronic pain and fibromyalgia. He is also a consultant at Apollo Applied Research Inc, studying medical cannabis with high-CBD low-THC strains for pain management. He has published several papers on fibromyalgia and integrative therapies and was on the national committee that established new guidelines for Canada in 2012 for fibromyalgia management.

Dr. Ko is a member of the PPM Editorial Advisory Board.
